The restaurant on the ground floor is awesome. There is a good enough and cheap breakfast. The location is ~45 min from the center by car, but there is not much options during Easter. People are very welcoming and friendly. The room was cleaned every day.

Fabulous, bucolic pool and grounds. AC is rare and needed for summer in this region. We appreciated having air conditioning. The staff were kind and accommodating. The olive trees and vineyards were beautiful. Lovely dinning patio, gorgeous evening light. Rooms very clean.

The property at Il Dolce Vivere is incredible. The owners took great care to create Il Dolce Vivere. The rooms are brand new, beautiful, spacious, and comfortable and each come with a view. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and the pool is exceptional. There are small touches throughout that show an incredible level of care. They have thought of everything.
The restaurant onsite serves incredibly delicious Tuscan food. We ate dinner there every night of our stay.
Il Dolce Vivere is not only about the property. The owners and their children made our stay even more memorable. Chiara is the owner and works tirelessly to provide the best of service and experience. Though English is not her first language 😊, we had no problems communicating, laughing together, and creating a wonderful bond with my family. Chiara’s daughters Sara and Rosie were incredible hosts as well. Rosie was invaluable as she speaks fluent English and helped facilitate some of the finer details. During our stay they arranged Pilates, an introduction to Bee Keeping, and a cooking class that we are still speaking fondly about today.
Il Dolce Vivere was supposed to be our hub as we explored the small cities of Tuscany and Cinque Terre. However, because of the comfort, views, pool and the warmth and hospitality of Chiara and her family, we chose to remain on property for the entirety of our stay. We will return and try to see those small cities that we originally set out to do this year. We had a magical and memorable stay.

Million dollar view from the terrace. The real feeling of Tuscany, and the kind of local people you should have around you. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the shared kitchen has everything you need. In the kitchen, there is always enough water, bread, croissants, spreads and coffee - provided by host. Thank you very much

We stayed here for one night while our daughter attended a birthday party in Prato. Our quadruple room was very spacious and had a lovely view of the garden and mountains. Chiara saved the day when my daughter forgot her curling iron; she got one to us within 10 minutes of asking for her help. Although still too early in the season for me to swim, the pool was open and our 7yr old son loved it.
Lavinia and her husband went beyond their way to make us feel comfortable at their place. Every day Lavinia prepared a delicious breakfast and gave us great tips of places to visit and to eat. They even helped us with the wine selection we wanted to buy to take home.
The house is beautiful and clean and internet works well.
Quarrata is well located in Tuscany. We did daily road trips with no problems.
I highly recommend this stay.
Nice house, big enough for a family of four. Friendly owner who was available for questions via WhatsApp. It was lovely to have airco in the master bedroom and to have two bathrooms. Shops, supermarkets and some nice restaurants (e.g. Rosticcio Ristorante Pizzeria Quarrata) in the town.
