Located 1640 feet from Ravenna Train Station, the Astoria is 11 minutes’ walk from the UNESCO World Heritage mosaics at San Vitale Church. The large car park, bike rentals and Wi-Fi are all free.

The location was great for walking around Ravenna and had a cozy local cafe/bar just around the corner where you could have coffee and wine with locals. The room was very functional and had a good shower and warm towel racks. We looked forward in the morning to seeing the smiling waitress in their breakfast room and the cappucino she would promptly bring us! They had a good selection of breakfast food including lots of fruits.

Hotel Centrale Byron is located in the historic center of Ravenna, in the quiet of the pedestrian zone. It offers rooms with attached bathroom with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.

The morning was a typical Italian hotel breakfast consisting of various sliced meats, rolls, boiled eggs, cereals, yogurts and sweets. My only complaint is that the sliced meats had to be requested from the server. They were not out so you could help yourself like every other Italian hotel I’ve been in. Because I’m a visitor, I’m not sure what the difference is between cooked ham and raw ham. Also, what if I wanted more meats, less cheese. Hard to tell them to take it back so there is no waste.

B&B Hotel Ravenna is 1.2 miles from the city center and is easily reached from the A14 motorway. It features a free car park and free high-speed Wi-Fi.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They assisted with booking taxis and rides for dinner and getting to the cruise port. Breakfast was a very reasonable price, however, I didn't try it (my husband did and said it was fine). I found the hotel to be similar to other budget European hotels. There is a shopping center not too far away that has a few meal options.

There are so many Unesco sights to see, all of which are breathtakingly beautiful. The restaurants and bars are really good including the covered market. Very reasonably priced room and the meal we had in Osteria del Tempo Perso was the best and most reasonable we had on our ten day trip in Italy.

I thoroughly enjoyed the excellent guided tour of the UNESCO listed mosaics, and the ease of moving around the town to view the major attractions. My hotel was across the street from a great restaurant, Fred's which had a good menu, excellent staff and good wine by the glass.

The historic centre of Ravenna is small, flat, and extremely walkable. It's picturesque and historic, so there's a huge amount to see and do, including visiting 7 UNESCO World Heritage sites (and an 8th a cheap bus ride away).

A charming but sophisticated for shopping and eating. The monuments were in close proximity to each other and entwined with the vibrant downtown. A place to attend for seeing art but without all of the tourists of Florence.

I appreciated the comfort of the room. Air conditioning was silent and working correctly. Bathroom had everything that was needed. Location was perfect! 5 mins from city center also 5 mins from train station and 1 min from supermarket! Staff use english fluently (which is rarity in Italy). Also, staff is very helpful 24/7. Breakfast consists of various fruits, breads, cakes, joghurts etc. Approved!!!
