The esplanade across the road from the hotel is fantastic to take a long walk. The food in the roof top restaurant was very nice and the service of the staff fantastic. Breakfast was awesome with a big variety of food and service from the lovely staff.

It was responsive to everything we needed - the chef came back to cook us supper. We took the key by mistake and they accepted a return by post and were accepting of the error and our needs.

I love Reggio Calabria.
I love Reggio Calabria. It's beautiful and a walk through time. Visiting the Museum is a highlight especially to see I Bronzi di Ricace. The famous statues that were discovered in the ocean in the 1970's that are almost fully intact. There are also palaces to see as well. If you have time to take a day trip you can visit the ancient city of Gerace. You definitely need to have stamina to walk up the mountain. The locals there seem to live in an ancient time. Go to the store and have some Bergamot liquor..It's yummy. Somedays it's nice to just walk around and see the sights.

Italy is never enough.
Italy is never enough. This was our first time in this region, and we certainly will come back. A fantastic Museo Archeologico is absolutely a must. I suppose in the summer it must be beautiful. A ferry to Messina makes it possible to visit a little part of Sicily as well.

Reggio Calabria is a great place to stay.
Reggio Calabria is a great place to stay. Good bars, restaurants, shops and amenities. Superb views across the Strait of Messina to Sicily from beachside bars.
It’s also a great base. We travelled to Tropea by train and Messina in Sicily by ferry - both great day trips - and transport is cheap compared to the UK.
Prices in bars and restaurants in Calabria were good.
Go before everyone finds out about it!!!!

Reggio Calabria, in my opinion, is the jewel of the south.
Reggio Calabria, in my opinion, is the jewel of the south. I feel it's underrated. Beautiful scenery, with the wonderful Lungomare. Lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from, not forgetting Cesare's gelati kiosk, it's the best in Reggio. However, I would avoid the cafes on the beach because they are more expensive than the ones on the side streets. Great shopping along Giuseppe Garibaldi Corso. Can't wait to go back there!

The venue is perfectly located for a late flight into Reggio Calabria. I found it walkable with a young family.
Access to the room was easy, even way after hours, as all access codes and instructions are well communicated. The room itself was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. The Nespresso pods left on the desk and machine in the communal area made for the perfect wake-up and little kick of Italy you want for the start of a holiday. The owners were also helpful with a shuttle to the train station.
One of the best places we’ve stayed! The owner Aldo is amazing. He took time out of his day to show us the ‘real’ Reggio Calabria. The room is perfect - really comfortable bed, TV, bathroom facilities are great and the air conditioning works well. 5 minute walk to the airport which is perfect for early morning flights. Thank you Aldo! We will be back to explore more of this beautiful region of Italy!
Great modern hotel. Well built & clean fresh, pleasant staff. Little out of centre but that was fine. Restaurant was excellent & very reasonable.
Great value for money
Only negative - No tea/coffee making facility in Standard Room. Have brought that to their attention as cost minimal.
Would recommend & would stay again
Perfect, quiet hotel room with clean, well equipt kitchen shared between 4 rooms. Everything was spotless, spacious, cool and comfortable. A short, 5min walk to see the Riace Bronzes and enjoy wonderful restaurants. Our host was so helpful and energetic! Anna booked good priced parking, just 3mins walk from front door.
The host was extremely friendly and gave many useful tips for our stay in Reggio Calabria. There was a great Padel place right near the hotel which we enjoyed and the private beach was absolutely beautiful and had a vary authentic look to it.
We will come again.
