The staff is too young. No concierge. Lack of knowledge or care about helping visitors to make reservations to restaurants or tour venues.
Suggest hiring mature adults that care.

Excellent, free breakfast, similar to that provided at an American hotel or motel. No sure if parking is officially free, however we were not charged. Parking lot was jammed with construction vehicles the day we arrived, but the very kind desk clerk gave up his parking space for us.

Rome’s beauty and history are overwhelming, art, architecture, all around. It is also relatively easy to move around. People are generally polite and friendly. Unfortunately, like many places, it suffers from “over tourism” and this means, ridiculously long waits and queues for some of the main attractions even in an off season.

We only had 4 days, so we pre-selected things to see/do (Colosseum/Palatine Hills/Roman Forum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain).
The C/PH/RF was a full day and worth every minute.
The Pantheon was easy to access day-of and we were able to stay as long as we wanted.
The TF was quite crowded while people took pictures, but if you waited "in line" you too could get the perfect shot.
NOTE: There were many "vendors" who sought out easy-marks. Strongly suggest you leave valuables at home or have them secured and out of sight.
We are planning a return trip to see other sites missed on this short visit.

Rome is just a visual jam - there are so many beautiful places to see. But Rome is a big city. Much bigger than cities like Florence or Bologna. And the distances between sightseeing spots can be quite large. So, it’s important to plan your trip well, especially considering that traveling from one place to another can take a lot of time. That’s why you should definitely stay in Rome for more days.
Also, I think Rome is packed with tourists. For some attractions, you need to book in advance. It’s very hard to buy tickets on the day of your visit, and some places only sell tickets online. That can cause some trouble.

A great city to visit.
A great city to visit. The crowds and long queues at the most popular sights can take the edge off some of your enjoyment. However, there are many exquisite quiet place to retreat too. I recommend trying to get a balance of the the "must sees" and the less obvious, quieter places (especially public gardens).

Beautiful city, parlty blemished by graffitti everywhere.
Beautiful city, parlty blemished by graffitti everywhere. Awesome history, great food and drink. Wear comfy shoes, you will do a LOT of walking. Beware the official taxi drivers, I got scammed by one. Also beware the usual scammers trying to sell you rubbish or rip you off. Just keep to nice areas, and have your wits about you.

So much to see and do.
So much to see and do. Full of history, lots of wonderful places to eat.
The metro doesnt have great coverage, unlike say Paris or London, but you really need to walk around and take in the sights and atmosphere in order to get the best out of the city.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. I had chosen a room in the annex as I wanted to sleep in a quiet place without too much people going in and out. The room was great and silent, even if it was over the busstation in Piazza Indipendenza, the windows are so thick that you can't hear the noise. And I loved the view of the piazza. The reception was nice and the breakfast is one of the best that I have had in Italy, so you shouldn't miss it. I had love to come back here :)
We are definitely staying at this hotel for our next trip to Rome. Checkin was remote but very easy. The staff is so wonderful, friendly and speaks English fluently (after two weeks in Italy this was so welcoming!!). The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The area is nice, safe and in close proximity of the historical landmarks. Because it’s a business area (lots of bureaucrats) there are many good places for breakfast and lunch nearby.
The staff were all amazing, so friendly, pleasant, welcoming and helpful. We’ve stayed in many hotels in Italy but here the staff were head and shoulders above all the rest ☺️
The hotel itself was lovely too, clean, comfortable and super location, right beside the Spanish Steps!
We’ll definitely stay here again when back in Rome.
Fabulous hotel in great position in Rome. The most comfortable beds in Italy. No I am not kidding!! Great roof top bar/ breakfast area. Fabulous breakfast. What else, great shower too and product!! What more could you ask for. It's a perfect holiday right here!!
We loved staying at Monti boutique Hotel! The best hotel in Rome we stayed at; Perfect location, large nice room with comfortable beds and very nice friendly staff. We will for sure be back!
