Hotel Marini is set in a quiet yet central area of Sassari and is surrounded by greenery. The in-house restaurant is a great place to sample traditional Sardinian cuisine.

Breakfast was great! So much great cheese, fruit and cake options. Location close to a swimming pool. Also, the staff was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

Our room was very large, with comfy bed, a double sofa, small table, desk. The bathroom had double basins and a large shower.
We were on the 7th floor and a view, albeit on a commercial/industrial area.
The staff is polite and the interior of the hotel clean.
We had dinner one night and it’s good quality and good value.

Location, the owner, Salvatore very helpful and friendly and permitted us to check in early which was much appreciated. Check in instructions very clear.
Comfortable bed and enormous apartment all great. Whilst breakfast wasn’t provided, complementary snacks were which was a nice touch.
Salvatore also helped us interpret the bus timetable and check timings. Overall a very positive visit, thank you.

Very cozy room with balinese furniture. Nice, friendly host, who came for check-in. Comfortable beds, good lightening, good bathroom , all was perfect. And great view on a piazza.

Beautiful spotlessly clean inner city with amazing architecture steeped in history however you need to go right into Piazza d’Italia and immediate cobblestone streets to appreciate this as the surrounding areas are unkempt and graffiti laden, not the place for “modern street art” in my opinion, taking away from the beauty of the historical buildings.

During our stay my partner and I didn’t take the time to explore the city of Sassari. But during the evenings we did enjoy going to a couple nice restraunts. We did enjoy using the public transportation to visit other cities but overall sassari is a very calm place to stay and very close to the north western part of the island.

Not a real tourist town but with a nice old centre (small streets, high houses, colorful facades). When we visited it (late afternoon + early evening first week of May), it was extremely quiet - some squares seemed totally deserted - which created a weird atmosphere. Scene and streets got more livelier around Piazza d'Italia and University but not what you might expect from a city with >100.000 inhabitants.
Conclusion: nice but not unmissable.

Location is great, near a small supermarket, restaurants and some attractions. It's Sassari main street, if you walk some minutes down the street you will find many services and places to eat and go.
Everything was very clean, room was cleaned every day and towels changed. Staff was very friendly and professional. They also have some private parking (8€ per night). Prices are reasonable for the area. WIFI was very good even from the room.
Yes, it's an outdated hotel but it even has its charm. I would definitely stay there again.
It’s a really comfy place to stay 5min supermarket closed by and easy parking. It was what we were looking for. We decided to rent a Car for our flexibility around the Area (5 min to Sassari center by Car). Full kitchen equipment and furniture. It’s a central point if you want to explore the area and different beaches. Fully recommended
spacious room with bedroom, living room, dining room, large balcony, aesthetic bathroom. there was a feeling that the hotel was not new, but renovated.
