Although it is close to train station, which was convinient, the neighborhood didn't seem to be totally safe especially at night, and you have to walk up a bridge (having a spiral ramp) and walk for about 5-6 minutes on that bridge to go from one side of the road to the other side, where the hotel is. Excellent location and services for catching a flight out of Linate or when needing a bed on flying into Linate before continuing the journey. The rooms are excellent with very comfortable bed and with useful bathroom amenities. The food and wine in the restaurant were very good. The mist horrible and dangerous looking place. We never gained entrance as there was nobody to let us in. We went there twice but still no one to let us in. It was close to Linate airport.
It was close to Linate airport. Had shuttle service to/from the hotel. The charge from hotel back to the airport was 3 Euros per person and was there within 10 minutes. However, they are very strict about the 2PM check-in time and will not offer an early check-in would have been nice after arriving in the morning after flight from the US. I knew that when messaging the hotel before we left the US, but hoped a room might be available. As far as I can tell, the primary reason for going to Segrate is to reach Linate airport. That may be unfair, but that is the only reason I went there. Overall I found the best western a good hotel option for flight convenience. Front desk staff were excellent but felt it was a shame about the restaurant as it was a let down especially as I had read mostly good reviews so was quite a disappointment as we hadn’t had a chance to eat before we arrived.Guest review byMaryQM_EireIreland
