Amazing location, staff, and the food is top notch. The pool, spa, surrounding trails, and kids play room were top notch for a family stay. Despite being a 4-star nice hotel, we felt very welcome travelling with a toddler.

I was upgraded to the CaseBella sister hotel. Great breakfast. Staff very nice and above what you are used to expecting. Bartender made awesome cocktails, and quality of dinner was superb. Easily would recommend this for people looking to see Stelvio Pass!

I loved everything. The hosts/owners were welcoming and extremely friendly. The apartment was spacious, everything was modern and well designed. The large windows provided a beautiful view out back and allowed plenty of daylight to come through, as well as fresh air when opened. The bathroom was sleek and the functioning sky light was a great touch. The bed had the best mattress I've ever slept on, I felt like it just held me. Wifi was strong, enabling me to do a little remote work. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with eggs made to order if desired. Parking for a motorcycle in the garage was perfect. The walk into town was not far, but a super tasty burger can be had at the deceivingly simple restaurant kitty-corner from the hotel. I wish I stayed more than one night!
The hotel website pictures are exactly as I remember it.

We loved everything about Hotel Gallia! We decided to stay at the last minute while traveling from Merano to the Stelvio Pass and then down to Lake Iseo and are SO happy we did. It was the perfect starting point for not only the Pass but for the Stelvio National Park and plenty of hiking. The location was absolutely stunning, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious (all house-made dishes, including the best venison I’ve ever had — caught by one of the family members!). We happened to stay the last night they were open for the season, or we would absolutely have stayed longer.
Set in the center of Solda, Hotel Gertraud offers a free spa and rooms with a mountain-view balcony. The Langenstein and Kanzel Ski Slopes are both within a 10-minute walk.

The room was spacious and well equiped. The bed area and bathroom were very neat and tidy and very clean. We had half board (dinner and breakfast) and it was fabulous. We were given 4 courses for dinner (soup, salad, main and dessert) and breakfast was a buffet which consisted of meats, cheeses, pastries, bread, cold and hot drinks and was plentiful. The area is lovely, but since it wasn't tourist season the town store closes half day. We would certainly stay there again and for longer.
Our view was not great and the bathroom door did not work...
Our view was not great and the bathroom door did not work and the shower has the toilet in it which was kind of strange. We loved walking on the trails in the back and enjoyed the views and benches to rest. We ate there and it was very good. They offer various outdoor seating which is nice as well. They did not serve any aperitivo snacks with our drinks which could have been a nice touch.

Everything was perfect. owners of the hotel welcomed us into the hotel as if we were part of their family. they prepared dinner for us for free because we arrived at the location tired late at night. Breakfast is beautiful and delicious, all homemade products. Clean and quiet, they have the most beautiful view of the glacier from the garden of the restaurant. I recommend this hotel to everyone and hope to see you again soon.
Spacious room, saunas of various types, common lounge area with books and plays and beautiful view, self-service bar, tasty and various breakfast buffet, very friendly staff, all the spaces were clean and tidy.
Dinner can be ordered in the "main" hotel Bellaavista about 1.5 km away in Trafoi, and there is a shuttle bus organised by the hotel.
Bike storage.
Fantastic alpine hotel with exquisite attention to detail, fabulous staff, nothing was too much trouble, the most amazing restaurant, one of our best meals in a hotel, truly superb.
Arrived late and never realised till I woke this morning that our room overlooked the snow capped mountains with a few houses on the hillside, spectacular
The setting is amazing, sat on the terrance with a spritz overlooking the mountains is brilliant. The food and facilities were again superb. This hotel is 5 stars across the board for us. It even has a friendly hotel dog to greet you.
