Very comfortable room. A lot of stairs to climb … but that’s Vernazza … and totally worth it for the awesome view from the breakfast terrace.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel restaurant felt like a neighbourhood hub.

The property is conveniently very close to the train station. It is very clean and the staff are great, especially Evelyn who went over and beyond to help us print our train tickets for us. She also facilitated an early check in for us. Our room was on the top floor with a balcony, and it was great to sit out there enjoying a glass of wine whilst watching the world go by. There is also a restaurant downstairs where we had drinks and snacks too. Breakfast is fresh and delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pastries. The hotel operates an honesty system for drinks, and this is very handy if you need a drink and do not wish to go out. It is very easy to reach the beach area by just walking out of the hotel, past the train station and onto the main street all the way to the water. Although the train station is very close, we were not affected by the passing trains at all. In fact, we quite enjoyed watching them from our quint balcony! There are a few outdoor areas to sit and relax. However, were there in the cold weather and did not get the opprtunity to do so. We were really made to feel at home at the Pensione Sorriso, and we will happily return should next time we are in 5Terre.
Featuring a wide shared terrace, Lisetta Rooms is located in Vernazza, 2 minutes’ walk from Vernazza Train Station. All rooms feature a fan and a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer.

We loved the location, 3 mins slow walk to the beach, 1 min to the station with easy access to the other villages on the Cinque Terre coast.
The train station was a very busy place, with frequent services supplying and removing thousands of visitors every day. By 2300 all was quiet.
It was telling that the host provides ear plugs for guests!
The apartment is small, with no kitchenette facilities, just a kettle, a hairdryer and a small fridge, which was very cold.
There is a very small COOP minimart three doors down, which is the only grocery store. It has the basics, bread, milk, wine, confectionery and some fruit.
Prices are reasonable, given the location.
Be aware there is no crockery, some plastic cutlery, no glasses and 2 coffee mugs. There is an iron but no ironing board, 2 bedside lamps with only 1 plug.
There is no plug in the bathroom basin. Wifi and TV worked well.
The bed was comfortable, some additional bedding would be useful, as the mornings were chilly.
Despite the passing trains, which wasn’t a problem, the apartment is quiet and cosy.
Also, visitors are to note there are 42 steep to very steep and very narrow steps leading to the apartment. Moving suit cases was not an easy task.
Situated in Vernazza, 300 metres from Vernazza Beach and 27 km from Castello San Giorgio, Camere Giuliano basso features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi.

Epic location right on the Main Street, we loved the place itself and being ontop of the restaurants. The train noise was pretty loud from the tracks though.

Location & the view was great from our balcony, however, the place was a bit hard to find. The bathroom is super spacious! The stay was comfy. The bedroom was pretty basic.

It was authentic- the residence was a unique living experience
This does not feel like an Italian town. It is purely a tourist trap. The only shops are restaurants, gelaterias, and souvenir shops. Thousands of tourist packing the streets blocking passage to take selfies. Since most tourists are only on day trips or tour groups, most restaurants close early. By 8:30 pm all shops were closed. Everything is priced for tourists so far too expensive.

Vernazza is a small town in Cinque Terre National Parque.
Vernazza is a small town in Cinque Terre National Parque. There are hikes you can do directly from Vernazza to other villages, and it's easy to access other villages to start hikes via train. We visited in January when most shops and restaurants were closed. But there were enough open to make the stay pleasant. I highly recommend the Lunchbox for a delicious hot breakfast and Gianni Franzi for dinner. In both places the staff are warm and welcoming and food is delicious!

Scenic, panoramic town, it’s what you think of we someone mentions Cinque Terre. We were there early November, so it was ver quiet. Many of the restaurants were closed, but on the positive side the trails were mostly empty and easy to navigate.

place was nice lotsa steps and very windy paths
shame there were not any cups/ glasses of any description... not even a paper cup so we could take water to bed:/
in fact when we asked about it.. they said since covid the area was not allowed to provide cups... we didn't agree with this as we had stayed in manorola the previous evening and we had BOTH there!!
fortunately a very kind bar owner let us borrow, despite offering to buy them from him... and we could return them the next day

Very small town.
Very small town. Fair to Good restaurants, lots of boat excursions to choose from, great for hiking and rock climbing. Not the best place to shop. Excellent train connection. Parking is a nightmare but the shuttle from the Municipal lot is dependable. They will ask you to leave your car key at the lot. Expensive.

It's very crowded during the day, but then, it's Cinque Terra's most charming village. It doesn't start really filling up until about 10:00 in the morning, & starts to empty out around 4:30-5:00. Absolutely charming at night. Some very good food there, lots of seafood of course, but also some purveyors of street food.

This property was a lovely surprise. Located in the centre of Vernazza, its balcony overlooks the small pebble beach and has a wonderful view of the sea.
Clean, comfy bed, good coffee machine. The room was serviced daily and quiet at night.
We were greeted by the host off the train who helped us up the stairs with our luggage. She gave up a map of the town and showed us where the information centre was to obtain our Cinque Terre pass.
Amazing spot in Vernazza, very central but out of the way of the crowds, with incredible views over the town and ocean! Incredible value, great service, perfect sized room with great facilities like a coffee machine and modern bathroom. It’s the perfect place to stay to access the Cinque Terre through hiking or train, and you get to experience the town after the crowds have left. Cannot wait to stay here again!! Grazie mille!
The location is certainly the big bonus here. Located well above Vernazza one can easily spend hours just sitting on the Terrace, enjoying the view. But the room was nice, too, and the staff was kind & helpful.
The property is just behind the “PZ Cafe”. So, once you find the Cafe you have found the property.
A great starting point from which to explore Cinque Terre.
Absolutely perfect accommodation. It’s right near the station and in the centre of beautiful Vernazza so the location couldn’t be more perfect. Anna and Luca are both so lovely, and extremely helpful. They’re ready to help any time of day. Surrounded by amazing restaurants, and of course the other beautiful Cinque Terre villages. Can absolutely recommend!
The view is breathtaking. You’re up in the hills and look out over the Vernazza village. It’s incredible. But best of all was having a cappuccino in the morning looking out over the view and chatting with Lorana. Lorana was so helpful and kind and caring. Of all our Italian hotels we visited, she had to be the best staff member we encountered.
