The view…the view the view. I had a corner room with double balconies and the view out both huge windows was spectacular. The host was also very sweet and made sure I had what I needed.
In a quiet location at the south end of the Amalfi coast, Lloyd's Baia Hotel has a panoramic cliff-top setting above its private beach. In Vietri Sul Mare, it is a 10-minute drive from Salerno harbor....

The view from the balcony is wonderful! The room is small, but lovely. The gated parking was very appreciated. Typical Italian breakfast served in the room was quite nice.

A real town, not just a touristdecoy. Busy in a charming way but still calm. Proximity to the Autostrada is also a big plus.Beach in the town centre. Great restaurants, especially seafood and pizza. What looks as a simple winebar may surprise you when the dedicated owner comes out and discusses the local dishes and wines with you

A lovely, picturesque town - gateway to the Amalfi coast.
A lovely, picturesque town - gateway to the Amalfi coast. We stayed in Marina di Vietri where there is a ferry port providing boat rides to other towns along the coast. There are many restaurants which serve excellent local fish among other dishes. The local people are genuinely friendly and helpful. There is a regular bus service from Marina di Vietri into Vietri centre - alternatively it is only a 15 minute walk (uphill!). Vietri sul Mare is renowned for its ceramics, and there are many shops selling these.

Great location to explore Amalfi coast but away from the overcrowded and better known resorts. Good transport links and selection of restaurants/bars. Vietri itself is a nice town with less crowded and more accessible beaches than elsewhere on the coast.
Walk of the Gods is worth the trip for the spectacular views - start 600m up, and takes approx 2.5hrs to reach Positano - comfortable footwear essential!
Russos Restaurant in Vietri is worth a visit.

Vietri is a lovely town and a great base to view the rest of the Amalfi coast. Compared to other more popular towns like Amalfi or Positano, it has the advantages that is less crowded, more authentic, and being at the very beginning of the Amalfi coast one avoids driving along the coast which is dreadful for non-locals. The "traghetto" (boat) is a great, convenient and economical way to travel along the coast and view it from the sea.

The hosts are a beautiful young couple who go above and beyond and love nature and animals they were lovely. The place was outstanding and the atmosphere was perfect I highly recommend. The hosts were humble little did we know how creative and talented they are with photography and videography and have millions of views on they’re work and come from hard work and humble beginnings you couldn’t ask for a better place to stay with chickens and goats fresh eggs and the real experience of what it means to be in Italy. We caught trains and buses all over to go to different parts of the coast but we also did the boat just down the road by the beach which was quiet and went all around the Amalfi we used a coach for the positano area to get to the famous Fiore bridge, we visited Pompeii also and the a coach back to Naples which was 45 minutes easy to explore from and way less packed than the other parts the people are very, very kind in the south and just down the road is another town where the food is beautiful the fresco pizzeria was amazing I highly recommend and the food on the front is lovely as well. It comes alive at night in all the best ways and very relaxed.

The apartment was nice and clean and location was perfect. Near old town and marina. Beautiful view from the balcony. Our super friendly and helpful host Michelangelo met us when we came and guided us to the apartment and parking place. We also got good advice for our stay in Vietri sul Mare. He helped us with our luggage in the stairs that were quite steep.
Villa was super clean, complimented with very modern furniture and facilities (fridge/cooker/hob/microwave/etc). Although villa is far from Amalfi, it is yet in a quiet picturesque town of Vietri sul Mare. Also Villa had private parking included which is a must in the area. Luigi the host was super polite and helpful. Thanks Luigi!
central location , clean, beautifully decorated apartment with all the facilities inside, good coffee in the coffee machine ☺️The owner was super helpful and friendly, helped us with the bags and sent all the information about the town via whatsup. Recommend this apartment for those who want to see Vietri Sul Mare.
