Very quiet and spacious, clean and modern room. (Not sure why some reviews said it was noisy. It was as quiet as a monk's retreat!) We didn't have a car but the hotel picked and dropped us off at the airport. We rented bikes from the hotel and cycled to some amazing beaches. Restaurants within walking distance and bus stop right there. Enjoyed shopping at the gift shop. I was sad to leave. Limited English but they tried hard to communicate and with their English skills and Google translate, it wasn't a problem. Highly recommend this place.

After being discharged from Amami-Oshima hospital after a serious car accident this hotel was very accomodating in allowing me a super early check in and gave me a very large room with views over the harbour to recover for a few days. Although the hotel is probably only positioned in about the 2.5/5 hotel budget bracket - the friendly, accomodating and helpful staff make up for that for sure. For Yen1200 the breakfast was good with views across the harbour. This hotel is positioned the closest to the ferry terminal of any hotel - only about a <3min walk away and great for very early morning ferry departures.

Nobuko is a wonderful host who helped us with everything we could possibly want or need. The little house is spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped. The only thing that we missed a bit was more comfy space to lounge around since we were 4 people (eg a couch or more armchairs). We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
