We stayed 3 nights. The small room on an upper floor was clean. The breakfast (100 yen) in an externally-accessed room was fantastic! Close to train station, so convenient for travel. Small amenities (e.g. coffee, tea, toothbrushes) are provided. Staff were great.

The room reminded us our stay in a ryokan with sliding doors and space. There were two small doubles - very comfortable. The manager was charming. A 1950s hotel, no lift.

The breakfast was great with a good variation of japanese and western style food. They even served local food like "umeboshi" in different flavors to try.
Spa area (onsen) was great as well!
The hotel was close to a local beach.
