This is a perfect retreat for a relaxing family getaway.
With a hot spring nearby and Naru Park just an hour away, it offered the ideal balance of rest and enjoyable outings.

The traditional breakfast was awesome with local products and super tasty. The two showers were a nice touch. The bed was comfortable (especially super comfy comforter). The view was great. We came by car so I don't know about access otherwise.

The area was beutiful with some lovely walks. Great for a relaxing time. The host realy went above and beyond. I don't think there is a walkable shop but the hotel is also a restaurant.

Owners are absolutely lovely, friendly, available to help you. They waited for me to arrive to check me in.
Che king as easy as leaving the keys in a box.
I was fortunate that their plans for the day allowed me to leave the luggage, go to Koyasan and come back. That’s not a “service” but it’s a possibility, which is handy thanks to the proximity to the train station.
Side notes, about “taking care”:
This love for guests is also visible in small details of the hostel, in the “welcome” painted on the otherwise gray wall leading up to the rooms, in the care in placing the items in the room and in the small picture on the wall saying “arigatou” with smiley faces in side the letters, really cute
