Yes, it is a bit dated, but in a wonderful way. Beautiful views from our balcony, very friendly and helpful staff, large onsens, good breakfast ( we had buffet one day, set Japanese breakfast the next day). Our triple room was very large with bath, fridge, sitting area, yukatas in several sizes.

The size of the room was great. The Onsen experience was good. They would change the Male and Female onsen daily so that we may enjoy the different Onsen they had to offer. Views from the Onsen were great, one of them looking out to the sea. The Buffet breakfast and dinner was sufficient and offered a good spread of items. The location of the hotel is great for anyone seeking quiet with a sea view. I believe all rooms are facing the sea.

Breakfast was so awesome. The owner lady got up early in the morning and she prepared a Japanese-style breakfast with warm care. I was able to use the sauna even after the breakfast, so I had a pleasant meal and enjoyed the sauna. I left after enjoying a very good rest in hospitality that I can't feel anywhere else in Japan. The bedding in the room was comparable to a 5-star hotel. All the usable spaces were really clean and organized, so just looking at them made me feel good. The usable space is very large compared to typical accommodations in Japan.

Fantastic views, beautiful onsen which was well equipped with Sauna. Breakfast was good. If you are a western guest ask for a soft pillow, enhanced our stay massively!
