Staff were incredibly accommodating by picking us up and driving us to the train station. It was a clean more traditionally styled hotel room with a private toilet. Tea was provided in our room upon arrival and a tasty drink was served in the morning.

It was a great experience to stay in a genuine old Japanese house and our host was great. Pet friendly was a big plus and communication was excellent. The kitchen was well appointed and we had plenty of space.

The hotel is in a quiet part of the city. Although the room was old, it was everything I needed: clean, perfect for a solo traveller, and comfortable.
Laundry was 300 JPN per load, but this included detergent, which was very convenient. Staff were really friendly.
