Kameyama Onsen Hotel in Kimitsu has a garden and a terrace. Each accommodation at the 3-star ryokan has lake views, and guests can enjoy access to a hot spring bath and a public bath.

This is a slice of the 70s, fixed in time. That's not necessarily a bad thing but don't expect all the modern comforts of a chain hotel. The bath was lovely - dark, mineral-laden water at just the right temperature.

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Kimitsu no Mori features a sauna and a hot spring bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Kimitsu.

Pretty much everything, from the clean, big and tidy rooms that we got to the hot spring area, it was a great and relaxing stay, just a bit hard to get to, but taxies came to the rescue
