Mishima Dormy Inn was a great stay. The location is convenient, the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the onsen had a relaxing atmosphere. The beds were comfortable, making it easy to rest after a long day.

everything!!! I arrived a little early and they let me check in at 12 instead of at 4. Super nice people. I was in a private room which was super big and the bed was larger than a single! (I’ve been staying in lots of hostels) There is a downstairs lounge/ bar area that opens everyday 9pm-10pm and also for dinner on Wednesday. Staff are so easy to talk to and chat to,

    It was small city about 100k people.

    It was small city about 100k people. The draw to the city was Sky Walk suspension bridge. There are no metro’s so transportation is by bus as well as taxis. A nice town away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and Osaka.

    Mishima was a stopover for our travel between Kawaguchiko...

    Mishima was a stopover for our travel between Kawaguchiko and Kyoto. We took a 80 min coach ride from Kawaguchiko to Mishima Station. It was convenient to get on the Shinkansen to Kyoto the next day. We did not go around Mishima but you can still see Mt Fuji from Mishima Station.

    Staff is very nice and helpful, they managed to extend my stay at the same rate. Newly opened hotel, small rooms but functional, Clean and quiet. Will come back :) Note: Internet password written on the key booklet didn’t work.

    Hotel room is clean and decent size for a couple. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. This hotel is located directly across from the Mishima Station (south side exit) which takes about 2~3 mins walk. Quite a few eateries/ restaurants nearby. Hotel also provided both continental and Japanese breakfast.

    It’s a 15-minute walk from Mishima train station. There’s a fridge and hot water kettle in the room. Very clean. Good wifi. Free luggage storage. Very friendly staff, although their English is very very basic.
