The hotel is next to a very beautiful river. If you're lucky like me, you'll be able to see this river from your room! The rooms come with teas and sweets you can try! I believe you can also order food to your room within certain hours. The futons were comfortable, the yukata were very beautiful, the onsens were gorgeous, and there are so many activities that you can do inside the inn! Like karaoke and golf. I wish I'd stayed long enough to try them. I thought the breakfast was really good as well and that the staff was very kind. Would definitely stay again!

I think probably the best choice in Shinjo for a business hotel. Adjacent to the train station, on the wide open East side ... (restaurants etc are on West side). I was traveling by bicycle and they let me put my bike in my room. Very enlightened policy.

It has a huge and free parking lot. The room was spacious compared to other options in the Shinjo city area. The hotel is right in front of the convenience store and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Oh, and the breakfast was excellent.

The bedroom was spacious with a spectacular view of the snowy conditions. The private and public baths were excellent. The breakfast buffet and evening set meals were all outstanding.
The staff did their best to help me in English. There is a convenience style shop open 24 hours which is great as there is nothing else nearby the hotel.
The specially prepared mochi should be ordered for departure! Yum.

Very friendly staff on front desk. Exceptional multi course dinner available on 3F restaurant is worth extra and likely better than anything available in town. Dress in your yukata provided downstairs outside lift. Elegant pre-dinner drinks and snacks free on ground floor with view of waterfall. Public bath immediately accessible from inside ryokan. Japanese style breakfast also excellent.
