Good and clean house with many facilities, owner also provided with some food which was thoughtful. The place is in a quiet small town, unfortunately everything was closed except the supermarket, even the onsen.. except for that was great

The room was a very nice size, quite big. The hot tub on the balcony was great, but a little small for 2 people. The shower (between the bathroom and the spa) was fantastic. Beds were comfortable but a little hard. We enjoyed the welcome shoju. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The in-hotel convenience store was great and was well stocked.
A 30-minute drive from Kagoshima Airport, Kirishima Kokusai Hotel features total of 9 hot spring baths, including mud pack, indoor and outdoor baths.

Good location close to the bus stop for the airport as well as the bus stop for Ebino Plateau, etc. About a ten minute walk from Maruo Falls and Senjojiki, and right next to one of the entrances to the Forest Therapy Road (highly recommended). Excellent breakfast and dinner buffets. Wonderful onsen, especially the rotemburos, which have the same beautiful milky blue water as Maruo Falls. The onsen is also open practically all day, only closing between 9am and 11am as well as after midnight. Spacious 12-mat room and balcony, with a view that includes Sakurajima on a clear day. Quite a bargain price, considering all it comes with. I can’t wait to return.

Resort hotel. Room was comfortable and the baths were fine though a little kitschy. That said, having the opportunity to soak in multiple indoor baths was great. I loved the location as we could travel Ebino Plateau in 15 minute for hiking.
