I liked the location. It is close to lots of places where local events are held, and Dotemachi itself is a nice place with lots of great food options.
The staff was also very nice and helpful, showing me with pictures where things nearby are and bringing my luggage to my room for me ahead of time when I had somewhere to be
The hotel interior was quite pretty and elegant, with the main desk being on the third floor and rooms starting from the floor above. The building also had lots of restaurants built-in so you don't even need to leave the hotel (useful especially when there is a snowstorm, as there so often is in Aomori)
There is a bus stop right across from the hotel which is quite convenient and 2 convenience stores within 5 min (depending on the weather)
The room size is slightly bigger than average although the furniture being bulky takes away from that
