It’s a hostel with shared bathrooms, but everything is very nice and clean, with great attention to detail and tasteful decor.
There’s a café on the ground floor where you can enjoy a snack in the afternoon.
Getting there by car was a bit tricky due to a very narrow street, but overall, it was a great stay. I would definitely come back!

Absolutely gorgeous log cabin house. The decorations were fantastic. The kitchen space was perfect. The bath was very fun to use. The TV was well suited for a night of watching YouTube. There is a pretty park called Iwayado park that is close by. There is a department store called Valore close by as well.

The a.c. was awesome, and the staff was very kind with non natives. Overall worth a stay especially since it was on the bucket list.

I was excited to book this brand new hotel for our reservation at Ghibli Park. The location is perfection, and Fujigaoka is a really nice area outside of Nagoya city.
That said, the beds are as hard as rocks!!! After long days at the park and walking, whew, they were .. not great.
Of course the rooms will be small, this is a standard Japanese hotel. It is what it is.
The hotel did allow us to drop our bags off before check-in, so that was appreciated.
The bathrooms were well equipped also.
I would stay here again to visit Ghibli Park, but I wouldn’t be super thrilled about sleeping there again.
