It was phenomenal. Me and my girlfriend had such a good time there. The staff was friendly and helpful and the onsen was beautiful and relaxing. The breakfast was also delicious.

We had a lovely beach view room from the 15th floor which also overlooked the pool. The staff was friendly and the grounds looked nice. They have a nice gathering area above the lobby that has a play area for kids. That area was bright and welcoming. It felt a bit like a public library meets IKEA.

Location right on the water was beautiful during sunset/sunrise. Affordable price for the bunk bed shared room, and I was the only one in there. Large facility with plenty of amenities like a pool, foot bath on the roof, shared bath, etc... Plenty of parking and quiet part of town.

The location is exceptional! Staff great. Onsen and beach beautiful. Food excellent.
It is a little dated and could use a few things getting painted as others said. We still loved it as the beach and facilities were amazing.

We loved staying at Shirahama Beach Side Inn! The owners were super friendly and helpful. The private onsens were so nice after a long day of walking and hiking. The free breakfast was such a nice touch and so yummy! Softest sandwich bread ever! The eating area was very cozy, I spent some time working there in the morning and it was so peaceful. I came during a rainy time but I imagine during the summer it's very popular for surfers. I am from hawaii and the hotel had lots of Hawaii art which was very sweet to see. We hope to be back someday :)
