Booked a family room although i am solo travelling due to availability, the room far exceeded my expectations, very spacious, comfortable and clean, cozy sofa with tv on youtube, more than enough amenities to suit your needs, provides free wine and sake with snacks (i did not drink any though) which is a huge plus, slight walk of around 15 minutes from Shingu station, price is very acceptable for what i experienced

Traditional Japanese hotel in Shingu. We booked a separate "villa" - essentially a small house, 2 floors, all for us. Walking distance from the station, very nice and helpful host, close to all interesting places in Shingu.

The house is a traditional two-story Japanese wooden home, perfect for accommodating an entire family. It’s fully equipped with everything you need — truly excellent. Not only is the house fantastic, but the host is also exceptional and incredibly responsive. They kindly provided us with a whole basket of delicious snacks and instant noodles, and even made a reservation call on our behalf. Truly thoughtful and hospitable!

The hostel is located just a short walk from Shingu station, making access to the train and bus very easy. It’s very quiet with no loud noises from the street. Very clean and new hostel.
