Loved the bathtub. Also the art cafe next door was the highlight of our stay. We had a wonderful time staying here while enjoying the cafe.

We used the hotel as a transit to Matsue, having spent a week in Shikoku so it was perfectly located. The view is of other buildings however OK from 8th floor. The chance to have take out breakfast (to room) was good. Got very crowded downstairs when went to collect the breakfast (hence why we chose to take it away) as the lobby also acts as the eating areas, waiting area and luggage storage area / check in. Affordable.
On the dislike or suggestion side - compact spaces could be better made use of if they added small things like shelving in vacant space in room, made beds a little narrower when there a twins so you can actually open moderate sized luggage and walk past each other. Ours was 15sqm and there could be better use of space generally. Typical business hotel however (we’ve seen a few in 10 Japan visits).
