Location was great in the midst of the restored traditional street. Rooms were spacious and beautifully restored with gorgeous wooden furniture. Hinoki bath was auto-fill and changing area was heated. Ground floor bedroom opened upon a moss garden while upper bedroom was gazing into the trees. Cafe closes at 5pm so you get lots of quiet time in the evening. Travel light and use a bag forwarding service so that you don't damage the wooden floors.

Someone came to explain how to use everything in the house immediately after we call them. The nearby sumermarket was better than I thought. There were so many kinds of dishes and utensils in the kitchen. I also loved the welcome snack. Everything was very stylish and nice.
