HOTEL KANALOA offers free WiFi throughout the property and rooms with air conditioning in Tokashiki. There is a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine, and free private parking is available.

Amazing stay - room is basic but sufficient, front desk staff were friendly and the traditional Okinawa food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. I had a great time snorkelling with sea turtles with Yoshi San as well, and they were willing to conduct the activity even in winter. Highly recommended!

Situated 200 metres from Aharen Beach, 400 metres from Hijuishi Beach and 2 km from Tokashiku Beach, kamekamehouse offers accommodation set in Tokashiki.

The staff at KameKameHouse were fantastic - very friendly, incredibly helpful and really genuine. The food was also excellent - they were home cooked meals that were really tasty and great value. The communal dinning area was also great and had complementary coffee, tea etc. The location is a short, flat walk to Aharen Beach which was great. They helped with pick up from the ferry port, recommending a guide for snorkelling trips and helped provide advice and made calls when our return ferry was cancelled due to bad weather. The rooms are basic but great value as a base to explore Tokashiki!

Located in Tokashiki and only 3.7 km from Teruyama Observatory, STAY IN ALOHA provides accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. This apartment offers a garden.

The house is small, but just enough for a family. There's a nice and big garden around the house and you have a nice view to the lush green hills around. This is much nicer than staying in any of the hotels on the island. Children can play in the garden. There's a small grocery store literally right in front of the property, so if you plan to prepare food, you don't have to bring any. (There's also another supermarket within walking distance.) It is very peaceful. The kitchen is equipped with basic dishes, cutlery, etc. We forgot our daughter's bike helmet when we left and we would not even have noticed had the ferry staff not later asked us if we had lost a helmet. Apparently, the owners of the house took the helmet and left it with the ferry staff, describing our car and then the staff approached us. So we got the helmet back and we appreciate very much how the owners went out of their way to make sure we receive it. Thank you very much.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was great with beautiful views of the beach. The staff were so lovely and helpful both before and during our stay. They provided an excellent guide on snorkelling around the island and also lent us snorkelling masks and wetsuits to use. The food was also delicious. We would highly recommend staying here!

I was there for five days (planned for seven days to include five days of diving), and my stay was cut short by the threat of a typhoon. Tokashiki is quiet - you have to make your own activities, which are water-based. We found a couple of exceptional restaurants and a food truck with great vibes. Lots of friendly locals.

The beach here really is one of the best in Japan, maybe one of the best in the world. Crabs and coral and beautiful seashells everywhere. It's so natural. Beautiful white sand and blue sea. Best of all is under the water. Coral gardens, colorful fish, sea turtles

Tokashiki is the largest of the Kerama Islands.

Tokashiki is the largest of the Kerama Islands. There are some great spots for swimming, snorkeling, and diving from the shore, but a boat trip will be required for some of the other spots, particularly the northern portion of the island. The roads are narrow, but it's worth touring around the island on some of the back roads for the various views and wildlife.
