Open from April 2015, Hotel Gracery Shinjuku offers comfortable rooms, free WiFi and a restaurant, only a 5-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station’s east exit. Seibu Shinjuku Station is a 3-minute walk....

Excellent set-up in the room which was a nice size. Also liked that the shower, toilet, and sink were all three separate so you never felt crowded. Location was the most critically appreciated aspect.

Conveniently located within a 3-minute walk from Shinbashi and Shiodome stations, The Royal Park Iconic Tokyo Shiodome is modern and stylish accommodations.

The rooms are tired and not particularly clean. Staff forgot towel and bath mat. The beds were very comfortable. The food was mediocre at best with poor choices for the paid breakfast.

Ideally set in Tokyo, THE BLOSSOM HIBIYA has air-conditioned rooms, a fitness center, free WiFi and a shared lounge.

Breakfast was a very interesting combination of western and Japanese food. I enjoyed trying new things. The room would occasionally be little crowded but the staff did well keeping things moving. The food was always plentiful and well presented.

The room and the common area were extremely cold. I needed a blanket, and went down to the front to borrow 2 blankets. Without them, I would have caught a cold.

FAQs about hotels in Tokyo

See It to Believe It!

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!

Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Center near the waterfront, and savor the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.

Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.

For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Outdoor markets sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.

Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.

Tokyo is a once in a lifetime destination (for me anyway).

Tokyo is a once in a lifetime destination (for me anyway). Loved the crazy vibe, but it's not for the faint of heart! It is crowded almost everywhere. You have to simply accept it and go with it. We explored several neighborhoods in the city, many parks, Temples and Shrines. We spent about 10 days total in the city, including some day trips away. Lots and lots of walking! Trains were fabulous-- worth figuring them out and taking advantage of the ease of traversing the city via train.

Wonderful time to visit during cherry blossom.

Wonderful time to visit during cherry blossom. Very big city that provides all kinds of restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. If you drive out, you can visit greater Tokyo regional area such as Mt Fuji, Kamakura and Hakone. Good to drive out to the region and then back to the city to explore the beautiful city that has many things to offer to the visitors. I like the landscape, view & the food. All are good in Tokyo including the vast public transport system which is so efficient.

The location of the hotel is perfectly surrounded with Lawson, 7 Eleven and Family Mart. It is very close to the Shibuya Station JR Line. From the Shibuya Station you can easily go wherever you want. Shinjuku, Ueno, Asakusa, Akihabara and many more places. You have to get out of the New South Gate to get infront of the Hotel. The Staff was always smiling and ready to help with any questions. The English level was very good so we didn't had any problems to ask some questions.

One of the BEST hotels we have stayed in! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It is in a nice quiet neighbourhood with a 7-eleven just 1 minute walk down the road, and only a short 10 min walk to the underground. The bed was so comfy, everything was so clean and the check in was super easy! If you’re looking for somewhere that’s central to most popular places like Asakusa, Shibuya and Shinjuku, but is also in a nice quiet area would 1000% recommend! 🌟🌟

We stayed at Real Okubo Apartment Hotel for 3 nights as a group of 3. We found the apartment to be very clean and relatively comfortable - although tight for space, it met our needs. We felt the location was perfect. Within walking distance to Shinjuku and about an hour and a bit away from Shibuya (walking). The property is also very close to a train station and within a minute from a very busy Korean(?) street.

The location of the hotel was a bit confusing at first. However, once you figure the area nearby, it was easy access to the train station. Also it was pretty quiet during the night so my husband and I able to have a good rest.
