Pleasant Japanese-style room with stunning view of the bay, sunrise, and moonrise at night. You can bicycle up along the coastal bicycle road and in 30-45 min get to very nice beaches (the one right upfront in Uchinada is not clean).
The tatamis were fake but there was a nice goza (tatami-like carpet) that you can fold, and that felt good on the skin. The new futon mattresses were awesome for my back!!!

This was our first visit to Kanazawa and we chose the Hotel Forza because of it’s location…an easy 8-min walk from the train station; centrally located with many eating and shopping establishments nearby; very close to the Omicho Morning Market and also on the local bus lines. It perfectly filled these requirements!
In addition, the hotel was really wonderful and I’d give it a score of 11+ if I could! The staff were helpful and friendly; the room was a perfect size for two people and had a lovely window seat for reclining; the breakfast was an add’l charge but worth every penny and had SO much to choose from. We truly lived our 3-day stay in Kanazawa and much of this was due to the lovely accommodations we returned to each evening! If you’re unsure about where to stay, don’t hesitate to book here. You won’t be disappointed!
