Was awesome to meet the owner we helped and guided us on how to use the heater and let us know about the 160year old history of the house. It was very interesting! The house is very rustic, has a full kitchen and has ample parking for 2-3 cars. The dinner arrangement with the local artist was amazing and fun! Not to mention this place is like 5mins away from kiyotsu gorge. I highly recommend this place!

The staffs are very friendly, the space is very cozy, I really like the design of this homestay, it has full facilities, and it is also very clean. It only takes about 5 minutes walk from Hatsuka Ishiguchi bus stop.
You can choose to add dinner service for 1500¥ and breakfast for 1000¥ but you won't know what you will be served in advance, like the typical Japanese omakase style. I came in mid-February, the snow was very heavy so the restaurants closed very early, the homestay's 1500 yen dinner really saved my hunger.
