We booked two twin rooms for four guests via Booking.com, with two guests assigned to each room. However, upon check-in, the hotel staff claimed their system only showed two twin rooms for two guests—one guest per room. Even after we presented our booking confirmation clearly stating four guests, they insisted we pay extra for the additional two guests. They claimed to have verified this with both their system and Booking. The entire process delayed us for nearly an hour. To proceed with check-in, we had no choice but to reluctantly pay the additional charges. We reported the issue to Booking.com and provided both the confirmation screenshot and the receipt. Since our stay on 15 April, we’ve sent two emails and one message via the customer service platform—but to date, we have not received any follow-up.
