This place was an amazing stop-over on our train journey from Kyoto to Sapporo. I think we were especially lucky being here on a Monday night as we were virtually the only people here! It meant that my son and I got the public onsen to ourselves which is superb (the outside area is right next to falling snow and a stream).
The hotel itself has a good restaurant and nice baths.
The hotel itself has a good restaurant and nice baths. It also is in a very convenient location. The room was very small though, and the bed was not comfortable. Overall it has its use as a jumping off point for festivals or long distance travel.
