It is perfect and definitely the best one I have stayed in Japan. though a bit hard to find, the host is so friendly and helpful, and the house is a masterpiece itself . We hope we could have stayed longer next time and take the paper making workshop. The house also has two cats who are super cute!!!

Relaxing in the middle of the nature. This house is big, clean, warm and beautiful. Nice host, he’s very helpful. A bit cold at night. You need to prepare food since the nearest town is far from this place.

The guesthouse and the neighborhood are amazing. The owner is one of the nicest and warmest people I have met. The bed was even nicer than that of a much more expensive ryokan. The train ride to the guesthouse was scenic, the location of the accommodation is perfect, the eateries nearby are all good. The place itself was spotless with a really nice shower room. Everything was perfect. I can't recommend it enough.

The cabin we stayed in was right by the river and it was a wonderful experience close to nature. Do bring your own food if you choose to venture out here as places around close early. Our host Manon was a lifesaver and had extra rations of food for us starving cyclists, so we managed to have a great dinner at our cabin!
