Great stay. Safari drives were outstanding. Slept peacefully with the sounds of hippos in the river yards from our tent.

I have stayed at Mara River Camp before and I will continue to stay there every time I come to the Mara. The location is fabulous, so many animals right in the camp, and right on the River Mara. The food is amazing and the staff is amazing. The rooms are great too.

Staff are amazing people, from Sharon who patiently caters to our requests, Daniel who is a very good guide, Gibson with impeccable service, and ofcourse Mr John himself, they treat us like a family. Food was also nice, the shower water was very hot and nice, and internet was super fast in our room.
We also got hippos serenading every night and the sound of river and friendly dikdiks right in front of our room.
Located in Talek, Kobe Mara has accommodations with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and garden views.

The placement was amazing, truly in the middle of the jungle with wildlife around. The tent was great and the shower/bathroom were really clean and comfortable. There was no insects in the tent although we’re surrounded by nature. The downside was the food as there was no menu, it was truly not organized and a hassle everytime we wanted to eat. The staff although extremely nice, a bit suffocating with the way they handle things. Special thanks to everyone there!

We had a PHENOMENAL time at Enkusero. It exceeded our (already high) expectations and gave us a more intimate experience we wouldn't have gotten from a bigger camp. William and Alex are so knowledgeable; thanks to them, we saw the very rare Wildebeest Migration crossing, two prides of lions (very close!), a cheetah, several hippos, plus tons more! The camp is in a conservancy and very close to the reserve, so we had our pick of animals to watch! The tents were luxurious and we appreciated the beautiful decor and the little touches (turndown service, laundry, great smelling bath products, etc.). The food was AMAZING, some of the best I've ever had. We felt very safe the whole time, and the kind, helpful staff made our trip extra special. Enkusero is also locally owned and operated. Would ABSOLUTELY stay again...thanks to William and his entire staff for the amazing stay!

An amazing exquisite property and we’re highly recommend. The general manager Leakey and his staff were amazing. And high praise for exceptional safaris from guide Danson!
Mara Explorer Tented camp is awesome. The food was epic, the game drives were excellent and our guide was superb. One issue though is when booking all Inclusive we assumed this was all we would need to pay as this stated game drives included but it doesn’t include park fees which are an additional 100 USD per person per day so we were stuck with an extra USD 600 which we had not budgeted for. Make sure you have the means to pay the park fees in addition to any other costs. This does make it much more expensive. A cheaper alternative is the Nairobi National Park.
