Overall an absolutely wonderful experience. The setting and facilities were fabulous. Staff attentive and friendly. Rooms spectacular. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Dinners were excellent. Location right on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Amazing experience.

Located along the sandy Diani Beach, The Maji Beach Boutique Hotel features an outdoor and indoor pool, a restaurant and poolside bar. It also offers a fitness center and massage services.

We were there to celebrate my husband 50th bday and the team (thank you Zipora and Evelyn for your hospitality, warmth and kindness) went out of the way to ensure that our time was special. Everything about the Maji hotel and our experience was exceptional. The hotel is aesthetically decorated, lots of fun and comfortable corners to sit in, the beach beds super comfy and the wrap around pool kept clean (thank you Wilson), the beach is gorgeous, the service is on point (thank you Erasmus, Zippy, Caroline), the rooms spotless where the housekeeping staff ran it as a well-oiled machine, and the food delicious. Our morning walks to the Kongo river were followed with an exceptional breakfast spread. We spent the rest of the time happily on the beach beds, reading and swimming. My original plan was to venture out for dinners but the food was so good that we ended up eating all meals at the hotels with the chef going out of the way to accommodate our vegetarian diet and adapting the swahilli dishes for variety. We had a special table setup that was beautifully decorated to celebrate my husband's bday with a cake. The security is always there, making sure monkeys stay at bay, discrete but always there. To all staff at Maji, thank you for giving us the best of memories on this very special holiday.

We (a family of 5) had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment right in front of Diani Beach. The location on the 5th floor offers stunning views of the ocean, and waking up to such a view was a highlight of the trip. The apartment itself is tastefully furnished and very aesthetic. It creates a serene atmosphere that makes it a pleasure to simply relax in the room, especially with the refreshing ocean breeze. This spacious apartment comfortably accommodates over five people; it's perfect for family vacations. The facilities were in excellent condition; everything from the AC to the stove, oven, and microwave was fully functional. The cleanliness of the apartment was top-notch, and the quiet, peaceful surroundings added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. The location is ideal—just a few minutes walk to the beach and a short drive to the city supermarket. Transportation options were readily available. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The host was also very cooperative and welcoming and made sure we were having a good time.

    Clean, quiet, and comfy. Value for money. Still new, and hopefully, they keep it that way. The only issue was the manager screaming that actually woke me up around 9 am. Otherwise, everything else was supa.

    Diani beach and Galu beach just south of Diani are beautiful white sandy beaches offering all sorts of water sports including diving. Great restaurants along the beach. A wide range of hotels to chose from. I love Diving the Crab dive center at Nomads, which also has a lovely beach-front restaurant. The Salty Squid is great place for either lunch or dinner. Great snorkelling and kitesurfing.

    The cleanest beach in the World!

    The cleanest beach in the World! The white sandy beaches go on forever.. Hotels are just perfect, beach bars are well maintained and the staff the best you can find. Water sports like Jet skying, Kite surfing and scuba diving are easily accessible and affordable. A visit to see the diverse marine life at for Snorkeling and deep sea fishing can be arranged from the hotel. This place takes my breath away with each visit.

    It's a nice beach, but its beauty is oversold, compared to other tropical locations that we have visited. The sales people are more aggressive here than anywhere else that we have visited, and it really detracts from the enjoyment of the beach. Tourism police were not present, and private security only guard the property, not you.

    Diani beach is one of the cleanest and the best in the world...

    Diani beach is one of the cleanest and the best in the world with amazing restaurants and fun activities not forgetting the most beautiful nature. This is one of the most amazing Beaches the world has to offer. I would recommend to anyone who has had a stressful year to go and relax there with no hesitation.

    The walk along the Sandy beach is very good, the was is great though the waves can get rough sometimes. The sun is great , walking on the reef is exciting and educative. Very good access via public means and close to a shopping center.

    Everything about this paradise is good.

    Everything about this paradise is good. The people, the small markets, the supermarkets. Everybody wants to help you. Not for free of course, but who want to do that ? For a western person with a normal salery, you can live like a king. The climate is just perfect. I just love Diani and recomend everybody who enjoy tropical climate to book a place to live right away 👍

    Diani Reef Beach Resort is an absolutely fantastic place to enjoy a vacation. The staff is very friendly and helpful and always smiling. The rooms are spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The pool and beach facilities are great for lounging and enjoying a relaxing day. The buffet breakfast and dinner are both great, with a wide variety of delicious food choices and the ala carte lunches were excellent. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone going to Diani Beach.

    Everything about this place was world class. The owner communicated brilliantly and was super helpful. The apartment is spotlessly clean, the WiFi works, the location is amazing, right next to a beautiful beach. It's totally quiet but only a 5 minute drive to the main town of Diani beach and if you don't drive there are always Tuk tuks on hand. Everything you need is here, I will definitely be back The huge pool was spotless and warm. The lady who cleans the apartment is lovely and friendly

    We have visited this hotel many times. Caro is a professional and excellent host. She is one of the best hotel managers in Diani Beach. Caro always goes the extra mile to ensure we have a comfortable stay. The staff are professional and friendly from housekeeping to security. The hotel is secure and safe, and the facilities from the gym to the spa are fantastic. Eddie who is also one of the Managers is also a fantastic host. I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay.

    One of the best places I’ve ever stayed! Great pool, great and short access to the beach through lovely sister hotel Shower and room were fantastic Aircon amazing Staff were so helpful and kind, even helped me book a train ticket! You can hire sand bikes and ride up and down Diani beach, bit hot but so much fun!
