The resort is nice, there is variety of options. You can see they are trying to offer as many things as possible to make sure the guest are busy and happy - gym, spa, gift shop, game room, pool, etc. The highlight was clearly the food. In all restaurants, it was excellent. The sunset bar was also very cool. Overall, this is a great island and hotel, as long as you are willing to stay mostly on it. Which is perfectly fine for a first stay or short stay on the coast.

Soul Breeze Beach Resort, located on Diani Beach, features a restaurant and free WiFi. The area is popular for windsurfing, snorkeling and diving.

We loved the staff. Janet, the receptionist, was amazing. She was very polite and sorted out our questions finding information for us, she was very knowledgeable and even solved an issue we had with the spa when they overcharged us. The room was cleaned on request, which we did daily, and it was to a very good standard. You get a jug of water in your room which you can fill up as much as you want from a machine that has sparkling, lukewarm still and cold still water. This was very handy as there are no shops nearby. Bathroom towels were huge so we loved that, not so much how tough they were as you could exfoliate as you dried. The grounds were nice and well looked after. Our room had a private bathroom with a bath tub and a shower. There is a restaurant on site. Again, staff were amazing. The pools were small but nicely kept although they do need daily cleaning. The massage service at the spa was very good but no relaxing as you can hear the monkeys running on the roof and the attendants talk to each other from cubicle to cubicle. If you ignore that, then it was good. Trnsport outside the hotel is easy to find, lots of tuk tuks.

Pinewood Beach Resort and Spa is located on Galu Beach and 10 km away from the Ukunda Airstrip. This boutique hotel features water sport facilities, an outdoor pool and restaurants.

Staying at Babylon Gardens was exactly what I needed after four days of safari. Markus and all the staff are so kind, attentive, and lovely, making your stay at their accommodation a true oasis. The food is great, and the rooms are actually small apartments with a living area, an open kitchen, and a bedroom. The bedroom has air conditioning, and the bathroom is very spacious! You can swim in the pool whenever you need a refreshing break. Spacious apartments, AC, a swimming pool, great food, always cold beer, and the wonderful company of Markus and the staff, so what more could you ask for? Would I come back? If I travel to Diani again, absolutely! Vielen Dank, Markis! Bis nächstes Mal!

The Nomad is a really lovely place. The food was very good, the staff at reception very friendly and professional. The whole set up with the swimming pool surrounded by greenery is lovely. Also nice to watch the different monkeys climbing in the trees. The beach is truly stunning, and while before booking I had feared the beach would be too busy, this was not the case. Of course when you go for a walk you are approached by beach sellers, but they accept a no. We had a standalone bungalow, with our own reclining chairs and lots of space around, very pleasant (that probably explains the high price, but for us that privacy and peacefulness was what we had been looking for), beach sellers walk past, but they leave you in peace when you say no. We also appreciated their environmental efforts.
