Located in Talek, Kobe Mara has accommodations with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and garden views.

The placement was amazing, truly in the middle of the jungle with wildlife around. The tent was great and the shower/bathroom were really clean and comfortable. There was no insects in the tent although we’re surrounded by nature. The downside was the food as there was no menu, it was truly not organized and a hassle everytime we wanted to eat. The staff although extremely nice, a bit suffocating with the way they handle things. Special thanks to everyone there!

Providing a garden, Mara Duma Bush Camp provides accommodations in Talek. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking, and free Wifi.

The owner tried to chatted me and he need me to pay 3% more than the amount specified in the BOOKING.COM. When I told him I will bring the police he was afraid. Also we agreed to have a lunch including every thing but he was trying to ask more for the soda that we had which is very bad and I myself don’t recommend it to anybody.

Facing the Talek River, Mara offers elegantly furnished tents on raised platforms, and a terrace with a bar for spotting animals. All rates include 3 game drives a day, and return airstrip transfers.

Lovely camp right next to the airstrip so very easy and accessible. We had amazing games drives, our driver Silas was knowledgeable, friendly, and spotted many animals for us during our game drives. Our waitress Anastasia and waiter Sylvester were always in amazing spirit, friendly and attentive. We enjoyed having a menu to order from each day and the food was always very good. Our tented room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. While other guests were in the camp we had moments where we had spaces to ourselves and even on our game drives at times we were alone with amazing sitings. Perhaps this is the benefit of the low season as I was concerned things would feel overcrowded. I would definitely recommend the camp to others, I’ve been on many safaris before in other countries and this felt on par.

Great place, lots of animals, beautiful landscapes.

Great place, lots of animals, beautiful landscapes. Pity that the guides from some travel agencies are not respecting the large carnivores (lions, cheetah) and come too close. Also some guides are allowing tourists to sit on the roof of the jeep, which is forbidden as it is frightening animals.

Fig Tree safari camp is in an amazing location!

Fig Tree safari camp is in an amazing location! The entire camp is surrounded by a river that you look out at from your room, complete with hippos and other wildlife. The camp is very safe with Maasai men patrolling the park all night. They also walk you to your tent after dark. There is a beautiful pool, campfire, dining room. It’s worth the drive!
