The location is awesome - sitting on the deck with a view of the waterholes while elephants, zebra, wildebeest, hyenas, etc drink below with kilimanjaro in the background could not be better.
The rooms are good, the pool is nice (you can do some birdwatching there), food is ok. The staff are really good.

Sentrim Tsavo East Camp is a great place to stay, perfectly located in the heart of Tsavo East National Park. Surrounded by lush greenery, the camp blends beautifully with nature, offering a truly immersive safari experience. One of the highlights is the watering hole, which attracts elephants, giraffes, zebras, birds, and other wildlife—easily observed right from the dining area.
The tents are spacious and comfortable, featuring well-equipped bathrooms. The swimming pool provides a refreshing escape after game drives. The service was outstanding, with a warm and attentive team ensuring a great stay. The food selection was diverse and delicious, including a taste of authentic Kenyan specialties.
At night, the experience becomes even more magical as you can clearly hear lions roaring nearby, adding to the wild and thrilling atmosphere. The staff was focused on safety, making sure everyone was okay after dark given the proximity of predators outside the camp.
Tip: Enjoy a drink by the pool and indulge in a massage for the perfect way to relax between safari adventures!

A magical hotel along the river, where wildlife is an integral part of the experience – elephants, impalas, crocodiles, hippos, monkeys, and on rare occasions, even lions have been spotted just outside the cottages. The staff, from the reception to the security guards, are both professional and incredibly hospitable. In particular, the hotel manager, Festes Mbeva, is the most humble and welcoming person I have ever met. Cooling off in the pool after a safari trip and relaxing in the shade while the cool breeze offers relief on a hot afternoon is an experience I will never forget. The rooms are of excellent quality, and both breakfast and dinner were delightful. We decided to extend our stay by another night, and I’m already looking forward to coming back in two years.
With mountain views, Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa is set in Tsavo and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. Complimentary WiFi is featured.

The location and the pool were amazing. The staff super helpful. Special thanks to Wycliffe the Chef.
Game tours were my favorite activities at Tsavo.
We were booked on full board at Salt Lick Resort and I can confirm that the food was delicious.
It is very easy to go around Tsavo. I drove around myself, though I was given a guide for the game tours.

Very rewarding park, One of my favorites in Kenya, have visited a number of parks. Huge number of elephants, more than Amboseli, but don't miss Amboseli! Great scenery. Would suggest adding a day to you itinerary, so you don't regret it!
