My time with Dary was something most can only dream of. From the minute I got there Dary was very welcoming and made me feel at home straight away. She shared so many wonderful stories with me about the village where the guesthouse is located which she grew up in. The village is alive and it was such a good experience to feel so immersed in true Khmer culture. Dary is an exceptional woman and it was an honour to support her and spend my time with her. The room I stayed in was very clean and food was delicious 10/10 stay :)

Insight into real Cambodian life. The host was really up for taking us on rides around the village and even showed us to his mother’s mango farm! We were given free mangos for breakfast lunch and dinner.

The property is an old buiding from the 1950’s (I think) recently turned into a hotel. The owner / host made a point to keep everything as close to the original as possible, allowing you to travel back in time. The decor is really nice, showcasing local artists and artesans, the rooftop is great, everyone was super helpful when I wanted to book travel & tours, have laundry done etc.
There is a real attention to ecology, creating as little waste as possible. The location in the heart of the market and just 2 mins away from the riverside is also very convenient.

I’ve stayed here twice before haha. I loved to be recognised :) the location is great, the balcony is wonderful, bathrooms clean, I could even rent a bicycle from them which was comfy and cool looking and I used their laundry service which was also great.

Kratie is one of the best tourist destinations amount the other attraction in Cambodia. There are nice places that you can visit such as Mekong River Dolphin, Kampi resort, Sorsor100 pagoda, and the other attractions.
