Set 1000 feet above the Caribbean Sea, with breathtaking views of Saint Lucia’s Piton Mountains, Rabot Hotel From Hotel Chocolat is a space where the sounds of nature replace the noise of day-to-day...

The Rabot Hotel is an experience for sure! You feel (and probably are) in the middle of the rainforest, with the best view there is of the Petit Piton. The little cabins are very picturesque, of good size, and with a comfortable bed. The restaurant has good food and the views, again. And the infinity pool is amazing. There are many activities offered by the hotel, e.g. free morning yoga, cacao tour

Offering stunning views of the Caribbean sea and featuring an infinity pool and a covered lounge with bar. Tet Rouge, an adults-only resort, is located 6.8 mi from Soufriere Bay.

The property is nice. The rooms were amazing. This is not a great place for solo travelers. It is literally in the middle of nowhere. There is no place to walk to. You are kinda held hostage. So you are kinda forced to eat there food. Or you could take a 30$ taxi to take u to a restaurant or grocery. You also have to eat at certain times and pre-order your food. I never know what I will want to eat 7 hrs later or if I will be hungry.

    Soufriere was great.

Soufriere was great. Often closed early or all day with the Independence Day celebrations. Parking made it difficult to explore Soufriere. Wish better parking option in town. People in town were the nicest and always so kind!!!

Excellent area to stay in for a St Lucia vacation because of proximity to many of the great places to visit on the island, most of which are south of town. We rented a house just outside of Soufrière which avoided the late-night town noise that we read can be an issue with some in-town locations. We found lots of great restaurants in the area and especially enjoyed the local dishes which came with several tasty sides. Nearby places visited in order (all good): Day 1. Toraille Waterfall, New Jerusalem Mineral Baths, Grand Eden Estate (booked tour); 2. Soufrière DriveIn Volcano ($15 combo ticket bought there: mineral/mud baths + tour + access to Sulphur Springs Park Interpretation Centre), Fond Doux Eco Resort. (45-min “A Taste of Fond Doux Private Walking Tour” booked through TripAdvisor), Têt Paul Nature Trail, Malgretoute Beach, Piton Falls + mineral baths; 3. Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens, Anse Mamin Beach. Other 4 days we went elsewhere on St Lucia. Nearby Restaurants we had dinner at (all good; most selected for view to enjoy while eating): Dream Restaurant, La Belvedere, Mango Tree*, Seashell Beach Restaurant, The View*, and Treetop*. *reservation recommended/needed. USD cash and credit cards accepted everywhere. No need to exchange money. Recommend bringing lots of small bills for tips and to be able to pay exact amount for fees to avoid getting change in XCD. Best to rent car. 4WD needed. Main roads in St Lucia are fairly good (being re-surfaced early in 2025) albeit narrow with many switchbacks, those leading to beaches and other places worth visiting are very narrow and rough with lots of potholes. Drive on left in St Lucia.

There is not much to do in Soufriere without independent transport. The waterfall and pool are worth visiting (pack your bathing suit!), a short walk from the property. I took a bus to Canaries, a very quiet small fishing village in the next bay. Interesting but not much else. Of course, great for those who intend climbing the Pitons.

The town is very well located to visit most of the touristic places in St Lucia. It is not a typical touristic beach town as there are no many tourists, bars or restaurants. Tourists normally stay in resorts/villas far from the town. The city is very quaint; however, it is run down and it might look a bit unsafe; however, we never had any problem when walking around including during the night.

If you have a week, some like to stay in another part of the island but the Soufriere is the most gorgeous part of the island. The restaurants are pretty good, especially Orlando’s, treetop restaurant and island chef. The food at the hotel is also good. There is plenty to do for fun and great hiking and snorkelling in the area.

The property has amazing views of Soufriere and the Pitons and the infinity pool was great. The staff were great too, very welcoming and helpful, we had a big room with a balcony and the bed was lovely and comfortable, the room was clean and had everything we needed for a quick one night lay over. The restaurant was good with a decent menu, food was very nice.

The place was tucked away nice and hence made it a quiet getaway from the hustle of the rest of the town of Soufriere. The amenities were excellent and the attention to detail in such a small space was magnificent. The street parking was no issue. The views were relaxing. Christopher was very accommodating and understanding.

Great location to see the east side of the island from, with all the St Lucian highlights in the area. Waking up every morning with a view of Petit Piton was splendid. Short walk (less than 2 minutes) to soufriere beach anytime we wanted to cool down with a quick dip.
