Great location by a river in a farming community Staff were friendly and efficient and arranged a half day safari for us. Didn’t go as planned as the gate close by to np was closed due to flooding so had to be driven to main gate This was all done with efficiency as it was organised the night before River great for a swim and loved the hammocks by the river to laze around in Overall a great place to stay that’s quite and easy going

The location was incredible. I was expecting somewhere to go and spend and experience wildlife. I found this place is ideal for adventure. the hotel is nice and clean.

The room was built well, spacious and had a great AC. From the room windows we were able to spot animals like monkeys and squirrels, and we saw plenty of birds in the area as well. The staff were AMAZING. Super helpful and nice, always available for questions and explanations about the wildlife. We booked the safari tour from the hotel and it was great decision - they provided us with great food and we were accompanied by Shantha, a guide from the hotel, who was friendly, professional and thanks to his knowledge we were able to see two different leopards in two different days. We recommend asking for the tour with him.

Close to the secondary gate to Wilpattu, very friendly staff and nice surroundings of the rooms! It does take a while to get into the park and we felt we didn’t see many animals in the first stretch, so book a full day safari to not be disappointed. Only comment is that I realized they charge a 10% service charge on the entire bill, including the room fees, which led to us paying close to 25 euros in service charges, which is a lot.

Most incredible stay in 7 months traveling. First, all basics more than covered: squeaky clean, comfortable mattress, great bedding, AC/hot water, gorgeous pool and grounds. But WOW the HOSPITALITY!! They went so, so far above and beyond: catering to some dietary requests, arranging transport/activities, showing us how string hoppers are made, it goes on. We felt SO welcome, SO comfortable, SO taken care of....like we were visiting royalty 😆 From the incredible management,.to the staff to the kitchen, just everyone, wow, thank you guys again for making our time so special.

My best stay in the country and one of the best in my extensive travels in Asia! Room was basic but adequate, nice view of ocean from balcony, 1 minute walk to swimming beach. Host and staff were very very nice. I was able to get good custom meals delivered to my balcony. Host purchased drinking water and gin and tonic supplies in town for me. And he booked dolphin tours at approx $20 less than web price I found. And he took me to a shop in town to get my duffle bag repaired. All staff were pleasant and always smiling. A wonderful stay and I wish I had been able to stay longer than 5 nights. Minor issue is that squirrels can get in room and tore open a bag of snacks.
