Staff here is very worst . Food here is pathetic. Wifi does not work on 1st floor. Loud Noise was there even after 11 am. Breakfast is not so good as they dont have options. Bad option to visit this hotel

From the very moment I set foot in Manu Banna, I felt an overwhelming sense of belonging. The warmth and hospitality of the staff wrapped around me like a cherished family embrace. Tucked away by the serene waters of the Bentota River, this charming six-room hotel is a true gem for anyone seeking adventure and relaxation.

It was very good, especially we had the chance to see a creature like an iguana or a komodo around there.

Aluthgama is a reasonably quiet town,. İt offers a bustling shopping area with plenty of local shops that provide the necessities of life without the over abundance of tourist style outlets.
Local transportation as in tuk tuk are plentiful and very cheap.
İt is surrounded by beautiful open spaces showcasing the areas natural beauty. İt is however a two hour drive to Colombo airport.

In 1 word 'amazing'. Susanna is a wonderfull host who goes the extra mile for her guests such as helping with a Safari boat trip (which only 200 meters from the accomodation), complementary snacks and a home made limoncello after dinner. The self cooked dinner as the breakfast was top notch and we've had the best coffee. The pool and rooms (with inside and outside shower) were really nice.
All the people working there were so nice and helpful. I had a little accident with a rental Tuktuk and the staff got out of their way to help us organize everything and we had to do nothing.
Also the rooms are wonderful and the activities are so much fun with a reasonable price. If you are near, definetely go to Malu Banna! Everything was perfect!
Hosting family very attentive and friendly. Great beach location. Our room on first floor c/w mosquito net, private spacious terrace with table and chairs, sun bed. Breakfast excellent, toast, omelette etc, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, juice, tea, coffee.
Clean room with big space and a large balcony overlooking the river. A swimming pool is available in hotel. Walking distance to the city. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Nice family atmosphere.
It is all about value for money, they offer good, comfy beds, clean rooms for this budgeted price. Their hospitality also exceptional. Highly recommended place in Aluthgama busy tourist zone.
