Super location near the lake. We flew in and had 1 night in colombo before moving on. We are wildlife fans and saw many species of birds on the lake including a monitor lizard and porcupine. The lodge is lovely and spacious.

Value for money in the Colombo. It's Very close to the Colombo City and the location was good. It's Very close to Diyatha Uyana park, Port city, Immigration office & Colombo City. For the price breakfasts could have been included. After checkout there are limited spaces to wait before departure to the airport. The coffee lounge is dark and uninviting, rather bunker like. Views from the balconies are of a sea of rusty roof tops. It's like viewing a scrap yard. Promotional material showing beach scenes is misleading. The hotel's beach access is a 10 min shuttle bus away.

Stayed there 2 nights and were really disappointed, felt more like 2-3 stars. Receptions staff was veey nice, but didn’t like the restaurant, felt like they simply didn’t care at all. Waited for them to bring us menus 15 minutes, and the place was empty, waited for 2 pizzas nearly an hour. The hot water pressure is weak and showering at night it didnt work, soo if you like cold showers, you can use that
