Amazing host, very kind and helpful. We got to choose our room between the two available. Great location near the beach, but if you go early morning there are fishermen and you can't swim. Good value for money.

Prior to our arrival, Joseph connected with us to find out if we had any special requirements. Stemming from that, dinner was to be arranged for us on arrival. On the day, we received a pin (location) and WiFi codes. Joseph connected with us to get an idea about arrival time. Upon arrival, we were made to feel so welcome. The rooms had been cooled down in advance and the entire unit was spotless. Dinner was served on time. The food was home made and outstanding! We really enjoyed the local pittu and prawn curry. Dinner was priced at Rs. 2000/- for two generous portions. We had a restful sleep and were able to get everything we needed ready for our day ahead in the well-equipped kitchenette. Our only regret is that we could only spend one night at this charming, cozy abode as we had to head out. We will be back!

A great place to stay while visiting Batticaloa in a quiet location just outside the city's bustle, with Kallady beach, just 5 minutes away. The owner and his family super nice, friendly and helpful, wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The A/C room was modern and comfortable with a large bathroom. Great options for breakfast and other meals when requested in advance.
