Had an awesome stay at E & C Guesthouse, right behind Cinnamon Bey Hotel. The beach is amazing—great for swimming and snorkeling, and there’s even a wavey side that’s perfect for beginner surfers. Plenty of restaurants along the beach to the left, so food options are sorted. Breakfast was great, and the owner, Sammy, is super friendly and helpful really made the stay enjoyable. The pool is nice, and the big garden with sunbeds is perfect for chilling. The rooms are a bit old, but everything works, so no complaints! Definitely worth the money for the location, atmosphere, and hospitality. Overall, a relaxing and fun place to stay—thanks, Sammy, for taking good care of us

The super friendly host took the time to welcome us, give us tips for dinner, arranged a tuktuk and told us about the culture and way of Sri Lankan living. The apartment was spacious, very clean and near the beach. The pool and garden were very well maintained.

Nice pool. Good restaurant. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. 75m to the beach. Beach has a corral barrier so it is “protected” from the strong waves: great for kids or triathletes/open water swimmers.
