It was a beautiful and peaceful location, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The property was well-maintained, the staff was friendly and supportive, and the food was great. The room was spacious and offered a lovely view.
Unfortunately, there was a loud family group during our stay, which was a bit disruptive. While the property couldn’t do much about it, they were always considerate and apologetic. It was just our unlucky day, but otherwise, this place is perfect for a relaxing stay.

This property vastly exceeded our expectations! Like staying in the middle of an extensive and artfully designed tropical botanical garden with a picturesque creek running through it. Amazing that this high level of accommodation can be offered in such a remote location. Beds were of the finest quality and by far the best during our 2 week holiday. Food was worthy of a Michelin star. Staff was plentiful and eager to please. A solid 10 and highly recommended. Do not miss the magical paved jungle walking path all along the creek where you can safely swim in many spots.

Gallene Gala Nature Resort is an idyllic location next to the river and in the middle of the jungle. The location is very serene and beautiful. The place is a tad hard to find and the journey via tuk tuk to the hotel is an adventure. The hosts were kind.

Beautiful stay in the middle of the forest. The property owners were very friendly and welcoming as well as the staff that were always very helpful. The food was amazing and gives you the perfect experience of the sri Lanka authentic food. They also offer complimentary foot massage to welcome their guests and yoga class every morning! They have a non for profit tea factory and took us on a visit to the factory with a guide that explained every step of the process for free! Very calm and relaxing place and highly recommended for families!

It is 10 mins drive from Kegalle town and on a top of a mountain. Views are great. Everything is new and functioning. The Internet is awesome and fast. Netflix and other streaming services preloaded. Pool is on the roof top. Food is tasty and we have a range of food to select from. The owners are friendly. I can say they give a 5 star hotel experience for a cheaper price.
