Srimal and his family were so friendly and helpful. They showed me where everything was and how it all worked. This is an amazing guesthouse, very nicely decorated and clean, and the price is fantastic. I had the whole villa to myself, but it would be great for a family or two couples. Dodanduwa Beach is only a short walk away and Hikkaduwa is very accessible by Tuk tuk, cab or bus. I liked it so much I stayed an extra night and would use agin if in the area.

A fantastic owner, in the room you will find everything including a curling iron and a jewelry box that’s very rare! In the kitchen you have literally everything, so, great and with awesome comfort. 5 mins from the beach, 2 mins by shop and Main Street.

The hotel was in a great location and right on the beach. We had fun playing cricket with the hotel staff one evening. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was a little slow with food however not a big issue.

The staff here were excellent. They were very helpful, friendly, and attentive. We stayed in a Villa which was cleaned every day. The breakfasts were good. We only ate in the Restaurant twice in the evening but it was very good. We loved the wildlife, the Kingfishers, Peacocks, Lapwings, Cows and the dogs. The gardens were very well tended and the pool provided welcome relief from the heat. I had a lovely massage.

Right from entering this hotel till the time we checked out all we experienced is endless warm hospitality. The staff here is so warm throughout the day. They will never say No to any of your requests. The next best thing is the view from the hotel and the location. The beach is directly connected to this hotel and if walk in the beach you will find many beach shacks and restaurants near by. The WiFi connection was far better than other stays that I had in Sri Lanka. Also, the food here was good. The chef here also served customized out of the menu items. We just have to tell him what we like and what we are looking for and also he has his suggestions. Over and all it was a very good experience.

We were at the Avon villa after we arrived after a long trip and we rested there to recover from the journey. The place was very well located and well run. Nearly like Western standards. We noticed Hadjid and his wife really do appreciate their activity and are very helpful and efficient. Wifi was perfect. the room was perfect.
