The staff was simply amazing. Everybody was super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had the best stay possible. The staff organized a small Birthday surprise for me (we didn’t even tell them about my birthday). Even though there were lots of guests, we had the feeling that all staff was super attentive, anticipating any possible needs from our side. After our stay, we felt spoilt and had a hard time to adjust to „regular good service“ in other hotels.
Special thanks to Mr. Nadan, Vithu and Shiva who made our stay exceptional. They went above and beyond to take great care of us. In the end we were very sad to leave these great people and we’ll make sure to come back.
Of course we also enjoyed the food, the view, the swimming pool, the spa and the pool table. We loved celebrating New Year’s Eve with the Argyle team. It was the most extensive and delicious buffet we ever had. Regular breakfast and meals were also super delicious and high quality.

It was a nice place with nice food and people, and also the only place on the trail where I saw other hikers for Pekoe. It's a good location for the trail and there were lots of options for dinner and breakfast.

We stayed 1 night at Harrington Heritage but we wished we could have stayed more. This small hotel is located in the middle of tea plantations and the view from the balcony of the Family room was stunning. It is such a peaceful environment, perfect to get away from the crowd and relax. The family room was confortable, the shower had hot water. The room decoration is a bit outdated but it was very clean and the view was perfect. The staff is absolutely wonderful, communication by what's app before our arrival was always very smooth and they were welcoming and kind once we were there.. They organized car transfers for us and an E-bike tour of tea plantations while we were there. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast there. It was all perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great room that had everything you would need. We stayed whilst walking the Pekoe trail and it offered something very different and very welcome. The staff were great and we thoroughly enjoyed a cold beer and a game of pool in the bar. The menu for dinner was extensive and the food and service excellent. They also offered us an excellent overnight laundry service. I think this is a great place for a night and different (in a good way) to the typical accommodation you will find on the Pekoe trail

Nice colonial house, refreshing bedroom and modern bathroom.
The service we received from the owner and staff was outstanding. They helped us with all our inquiries and most importantly got us our train tickets to Ella!
Would recommend if you are passing through Hatton. Note that the home is close to day traffic but the night time is very quiet!

Hatton is a very basic locals town, as it is surrounded by tea plantations. The surrounding landscape is stunning. The design of the bungalow residences is fabulous. Each with its own unique charm. I thoroughly reclined a stay here.

Hatton is a nature paradise.
Hatton is a nature paradise. Cool vibrant city in the central hills of Srilanka. Beautiful waterfalls, mountains and tea plantations within and outside the city. Adams Peak can be reached via Maskeliya Town. Very cold in the night. Variants of sweetmeats available in the market.

Hatton is a good transport hub for more popular destinations, but it’s also worth visiting as it has easy access to tea plantations, waterfalls, beautiful scenery and is a 1 hour, 30mins bus journey to Sri Pada/Adam’s peak. It’s a busy small city/town so it’s a good place to observe real local life and customs. It’s easy to take a stroll along paths through the nearby tea plantations.

I was 🤩 surprised at how great the villa was for the price! It is about 3 km from Hatton city center, which has a train station 🚆 with convenient access to Colombo or Ella. The villa is private, with two spacious floors 🏡. We were a group of four adults and two kids, and although there were two queen beds, they provided extra foldable beds and a sofa bed for the kids 🛏️. The hosts were very kind and accommodating ❤️. I highly recommend this place—the internet was excellent 📶, and I will definitely stay here again! ✅
Our host was just fantastic! He made sure that we were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The surroundings of the property are great. We took an evening stroll in a tea plantation and could stay for sunset, with views on Adam's Peak.
The good thing is that this is a small building with two identical rooms/bathrooms. Not a crowdy hotel with loads of tourists.
We asked if we could get some food for the evening meal... it was outstandingly delicious and not too spicy! Breakfast was also outstanding.
Breakfast was very good and delicious, even though there was no variation in the menu. The hotel surroundings are beautiful, featuring lush greenery, well-maintained gardens, and perhaps scenic views that create a peaceful and inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy. Additionally, the arrangement of the hotel living area is well thought out, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment for relaxation.
A stunning location next to a stream just outside Hatton with easy access to anywhere you want to go thanks to the helpful hosts that will take you anywhere
