The team were lovely! Robert the manager came out to personally greet us. The team were so hands on and accommodating. I would say the bathroom needs to have some work done as it hasnt been maintained in a while but other than that i am really happy!

A good position if one likes the beach. Reasonably quiet.Staff very helpful & friendly. A pleasant view from the room facing West, so a nice sunset, depending on the weather.

Right from entering this hotel till the time we checked out all we experienced is endless warm hospitality. The staff here is so warm throughout the day. They will never say No to any of your requests. The next best thing is the view from the hotel and the location. The beach is directly connected to this hotel and if walk in the beach you will find many beach shacks and restaurants near by. The WiFi connection was far better than other stays that I had in Sri Lanka. Also, the food here was good. The chef here also served customized out of the menu items. We just have to tell him what we like and what we are looking for and also he has his suggestions. Over and all it was a very good experience.

We were at the Avon villa after we arrived after a long trip and we rested there to recover from the journey. The place was very well located and well run. Nearly like Western standards. We noticed Hadjid and his wife really do appreciate their activity and are very helpful and efficient. Wifi was perfect. the room was perfect.

Great Beachfront Stay with Friendly Staff I had a lovely stay at Coral Rock by Bansei in Sri Lanka. It’s a small hotel located right on the beachfront, offering stunning ocean views and easy access to the public beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ensuring I had everything I needed. The breakfast was also quite good, with a nice selection to start the day. Overall, it was great value for money—comfortable, well-located, and welcoming. A beautiful property, and Peter and Glenda made us very welcome. It’s an easy walk into town. The breakfast choices were imaginitive and delicious. The restaurant recommendations were excellent and the early morning canoe trip on the lake they organised was incredibly peaceful with lots of beautiful birds.

The Asian Jewell is the perfect place for a chilled holiday ..Lovely staff who couldn't do more to make us welcome, Fantastic food, right near everything including an amazing beach, shops and bars. They can organise drivers for airport pick ups and tailor made trips. We can't wait to go back there.

    Already my 3rd time in this hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. The pool area and everything looks really nice. Only a short walk to shops and the Beach.

    Hikkaduwa has fabulous beaches but when we stayed in March the flags were up for no swimming as the waves were so big. This was not a problem for us as we did not want to swim particularly but people that want to snorkeor have young children that want to swim may be disappointed. Great to be close to Galle but be in a quieter location. Aboit 20 mins by car. Lots of little bars and places to eat along the beach. Beaches are quiet and less full of tourist than Galle. There are quite a few stray dogs (everywhere in Sri Lanka) which don't bother you but do be mindful that they may go to the toilet on the beach so watch where you tread!!!

    The water temp was nice, waves for surfing & plenty of shops & restaurants to choose from. Close proximity to Galle by bus & snorkelling at ant of the beaches to see colourful fish + turtles.

    I was away for 44 nights in the sun. Swimming reading away from a cold winter. What else can you ask for. Got good food good people. Beautiful beaches, so many beautiful things to see. Fish everywhere, sharks ( baby ones) turtles. Elephants safari the place is awesome.

    Hikkaduwa is one of the best places to stay few days at the southeast coast of Sri Lanka. Very nice,clean beach with fine golden sand,many guest houses and hotels,restaurants. Easy to reach nearby historic Galle town by bus or train-ca 1/2hour, Bamian Buddha Statue/Tsunami museum in Peraliya or Seenigama Buddish/HinduTemple few hundred meters away.

    We were travelling a lot around Sri Lanka, been to Unawatuna, Tangalle. But Hikkaduwa is our favorite. It is a great combo of beach, facilities and infrastructure. And not everywhere you can watch sunset but Hikkaduwa is the perfect place for it.

    Great location directly on the beach with private garden, beach and sunbeds. The hotel is located about 1 km from the city center what makes your stay even better. The rooms are with sea view. The staff very friendly. We were unexpectedly few hours before our scheduled check in and could still promptly get the room. Also because our flight back was late we could use the garden the whole day after check out and get the shower before leaving Hikkaduwa. The hotel has also own restaurant wirh very good sri lankan food, seefood, coctails.

    This was the most exceptional hotels I have stayed at, not just in Sri Lanka, but all my travels. The hotel is situated on the beach with a more than spacious room and sophisticated amenities. However, what made this hotel stand out was the way the staff treated us. They were proactive in their hospitality and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Everyone was pleasant and even the MD of the Resort personally came up to me and ensured that I was having an exceptional stay.

    Great hotel in good location at quieter end of Hikkaduwa. Good to have the pool as the sea can be challenging here ( it is calmer a few hundred metres along the beach towards Hikkaduwa). Free loungers with towels on the beach. Our poolside room was very well furnished with plenty of sockets and large good quality bathroom. Food and drink very reasonably priced. Good breakfast and coffee. Best of all were the staff who are all very friendly and helpful.

    Stylish and unique small hotel on a calm location near Hikkaduwa beach and services. The staff was super friendly and helpful! We arrived late at night, but the staff welcomed us warmly and offered us coconut water after a long journey. The room was clean, stylish and spacious. Definitely worth the price.
