We came here after climbing Sigiriya rock and it was a wonderful place to recover! There is cooler weather in this part of Sri Lanka so you need a sweater. The heated indoor pool and the gardens were lovely overlooking tea plantations and small farms and a temple. We loved our short stay. Great food too and short walks in the area. It would be an excellent wedding venue.

We had the perfect stay. The staff was super friendly and welcomed us warmly. We booked a Deluxe Family room for two nights and the room was so spacious. The room had all the facilities even the heater. The bathroom was equipped with all the necessities. We took only the breakfast from the hotel and it was delicious and more than enough. The staff served us well. We will definitely stay here next time also.

Everything. It’s like staying in a European chalet. A real change in Sri Lanka at over 6,000 ft., was a little cool in the evenings, but delightful. The owner is a very nice guy who lived in Italy for a few years, thus the name. Hotel is very clean, price is very reasonable and perched on a hill with a magnificent view. Highly recommend!

Honestly this was my favorite stay out of all my hotels during 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The property is beautiful and the rooms very clean, well laid out and cozy. But the thing that really set Misthill Rest apart is the impeccable service. Nusha, Mr. Najvy and the entire team is just top notch. Mr. Najvy was extremely caring kind and very accommodating to my driver. Kader. I appreciate that so much.
