Irfan and his team were incredibly helpful. We booked last minute and he helped with our arrival by speaking with the taxi and letting them know how to arrive at the hotel.
We had some great welcome snacks and tea which were great after our taxi ride.
The room was lovely with a great view of the mountains.
We had our order taken for dinner which was Sri Lankan food with vegetables made from the in house organic garden. It was all really tasty.
We finished dinner with an amazing bowl of homemade Cardamom ice cream. This was probably the best ice cream we had tasted and we requested a bowl before we left!
Overall a really great short stay for us. The staff were very attentive and ready to help with everything.

It was all so great I don't even know where to start from. The staff were super helpful and friendly (every single one of them), the food was Michelin-Star-Restaurant level, especially the Sri Lankan options, the rooms were very very clean, spacious, and so comfy that it was extremely relaxing even just staying on the balcony and listen to the birds, without any other sound disturbing in the surroundings. We stayed in the Garden View Chalet, and it was wonderful to be surrounded by all that nature (no TV in the rooms, that's a big plus!). The yoga lessons and the massages were also great, especially the afternoon yoga sessions with Rahul. In brief, if you really want to switch off and actually relax and take care of yourself, skip all the other places in the Hill Country and stay here instead. :)

It's a jungle paradise and by far the most special place I have visited in Sri Lanka. I enjoyed wonderful yoga classes and very delicious meals. It's perfect for everyone who wants to escape from stress and busy days for a while 😊

We selected this hotel to get out from our stressful routine life, and our choice was absolutely correct. The property had the much anticipated tranquility and the greenery that we were looking forward for.
The staff was extremely cordial and corporative. The food was not cheap but definitely more than valuable for the price paid for.

In spite of rain and low cloud still enjoyed occasional glimpses of surrounding hills listening to the birds and a dip in the lovely pool. The fresh air was a welcome relief after the heat on the coast and we slept really well without AC. Interior of bungalow was like living in a set from a historical tv production. Meals cooked by the chef were tasty and met our requests to try Sri Lankan spicy curries. Gardener did a great job maintaining the lovely garden and gorgeous plants and flowers. He also took the time to show us up to have a look around the adjoining tea factory.
