Very easy to find, well located to the train station, easy checkin. Staff very helpful - allowing me to use their land line on reception to call my bank on their reverse charges number. I felt badly that it tied up their main reception phone but they were ever so gracious/generous in allowing my long phone call. The room was very comfortable, and the purchased breakfast (western and local available) at the rooftop garden (adjacent to the pool) was good also.

The location was amazing. We faced Lake Kandy - so great views of the city. The room had a balcony, overlooking the lake which meant we could have our coffees in the morning watching birds and monkeys. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good location & nice rooms, but the facilities can be improved on. Especially for a hotel that promotes leisure & family travelers, the pool is extremely small which was a bit disappointing.

The location was a short thought uphill walk from the centre. There was also a shortcut which the hotel manager was kind enough to let us know. The facilities were average. The bathroom of the room we stayed in could use a little more work. Addition of wall mounted organiser for keeping shower essentials would help. Over all the staff was good good property for short stay

A beautiful hotel with a real air of yesteryear grandeur. The staff were attentive and helpful, whilst coping with many guests travelling during their New Year festival period some who were quite vocal on ‘ how things should be done’. The patience of the staff far exceeded that of mine for which they should be commended. If you want modern slick glamour probably neither the place or hotel for you. For me offer great value for money was beautiful, clean and the staff were superb.

Veraima Kandy has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Kandy.

It was a nice place with decent facilities. The staff was courteous however we had to ask for even small things like water etc. We had good hot water in the bathroom. The rooms were clean and towels and soaps were provided.
